One of the most fascinating art-world characters, while not an artist herself, gets her due in PEGGY GUGGENHEIM: ART ADDICT. A daughter of immigrants who found fortune in the US, Peggy preferred the company of people who were rich with creative ideas rather than money. Those in her inner circle included Marcel Duchamp, Jackson Pollock and Max Ernst (whom she married).  The film travels with her from Paris to London to New York and finally Venice, where she settled down, threw fabulous parties, and tended to dozens of dogs.   The result is a richly illustrated and entertaining portrait of the rebellious heiress who accumulated one of the best modern art collections of all time.
